The Alabama general warranty deed is a document that guarantees the title for a new buyer of property for the time the seller owned it in addition to all previous owners. Unlike the special or limited version, which only covers the new owner for the time the seller owned the property, the general warranty deed covers any title defect during the history of the property which makes it the strongest way to convert property ownership from one party to another.
