Download this BiWeekly Timesheet Template that has been created to keep biweekly payroll time keeping simple. This timesheet keeps all of the required information to a minimum. It’s also all of the information to keep accurate records and properly pay employees on a biweekly basis.
How To Write
Step 1 – Section 1 – Employee Information –
- At the top of the timesheet, the employee information is needed for record keeping and payout. Provide the following information:
- Employee Name (full name)
- Date
- Employee Number
- Department Where Employee Works
- Job Description
Step 2 – Section 2 – Record Employee Hours –
- In rows from left to right, either employer or manager would record the following information for the employee:
- Date (employee is working)
- Job Number
- Activities
- Time Start
- Time Finish
- Hours (calculated by management or HR)
- Repeat the same in the second week block
Step 3 – Section 3 – Overtime Authorization/Total Calculations –
- Remember that authorization and a supervisor’s signature is required for any over time hours – this is found at the lower left side of the timesheet
- To the right – Calculations of:
- Total Regular Hours
- Total Overtime Hours
- Calculate both figures – subtracting any benefit shares etc, to arrive at the correct payout total
