The Florida power of attorney form for real estate allows a principal to hand over all selling rights to a single (1) piece of property. This is common with larger real estate developers who grant their rights to a representative so that they may express their explicit intentions regarding the details of the sale. The document should be completed by the principal and agent and only the principal is required to sign along with either two (2) witnesses or a notary public.
How to Write
Step 1 – Download the Form.
Step 2 – Enter the principal, agent, and their relationship with one another.
Step 3 – Enter the Street Address of the property along with any legal description(s) such as Map/Lot, Deed Book/Page, etc.
Step 4 – The principal should sign but only if there are at least two (2) witnesses or a notary public that is able to view the signature.
After the document has been authorized the agent will need to hold onto the form and present it when negotiating, accepting offers, and signing any purchase and sales agreement. Furthermore, if the agent is required to complete the transaction they will need to show this form and present themselves at the closing.
