Download this Connecticut Revocable Living Trust form in order to create an entity by which you can place chosen assets and property into a separate entity which is administered by a fiduciary called a trustee.  A trustee is responsible to make sure the trust is administered for the benefit of the beneficiaries.  You can direct that the trust pay certain amounts to you as a grantor during  your life and that the remainder be distributed to your loved ones upon your death.  You can specify that your beneficiaries have to reach a certain age before they are able to benefit from the trust.  These are options available with a trust.

A grantor can change or revoke a revocable trust.  However, in exchange for maintaining that level of  control over the assets, the assets in a revocable trust are considered the grantor’s assets and therefore would be considered part of the grantor’s estate.
