The Alabama standard lease agreement, also known as ‘Form 401’, was created by the Alabama Association of Realtors and is known as the ‘long version’ with a total of 10 pages. The lessor (landlord) and lessee (renter) should fill-in the agreement together. Once the negotiations have been resolved on items such as monthly payment, additional fees, and security deposit the form should be printed and signed.
