Download the Alabama Domestic Limited Liability Certificate of Formation that is a required form to be submitted when forming a Limited Liability Company (LLC). It must be submitted and processed by the Office of the Judge Probate of the county where the Limited Liability Company will be located. The Secretary of State requires that one original plus two copies with payment of all applicable fees be submitted to the County Office of the Judge of Probate. While the Secretary of State will require a standard fee, each county will determine its own requirements.


Step 1 – Download the Application and complete

Step 2 – The Secretary of State will require payment of $100 for the filing. An additional $100 Expediting Fee is optional for a three (3) day processing period.

Step 3 – Send the application to the county probate office where the business is located. (See List Here)
