Download this Rhode Island Revocable Living Trust form which is a way for an individual (the grantor) to manage the dissemination of his assets and property both during and after his or her death.  It provides flexibility to the grantor because the grantor can dictate conditions and restrictions how how and when and for what purposes his or her assets are distributed.  It provides continuity, because in creating a trust, you are creating a separate entity which has a life beyond the grantor’s life.  A trust also provides privacy because it is a private document.  The granor sepcifies a person, called a trustee, who is charged with managing the trust in the manner specified by the grantor and in the best interest of the beneficiaries. A revocable trust may be changed or revoked during the life of the grantor, but it becomes irrevocable thereafter.
